Annyeong Korea - Part 2

Part 2 of Annyeong Korea (26 December 2013)
We woke up quite late. Initially, we thought of postponing our photoshoot because we thought that it will not snowed. As when we woke up, it was pretty sunny. We checked the weather forecast and stated that it will not snow. Totally depressed.

My photographer was good, he said that we could change the date to another proposed date if the "weather" wasn't what we want. Meaning it did not snow! HAHA! So while we were preparing, the sky suddenly turned dark and gloomy. I told hubby that there might be a chance that it will snow and decided to just go ahead with the photoshoot. Suddenly, it snowed heavily! You couldn't believe how excited I am. Literally screamed for joy.

I told hubby that he was really lucky to be able to see snow and in fact such a heavy snow. For the past two times that I came, it wasn't even snowed this heavily. But I am super happy that he got to see snow. It is like a mission accomplished!

We met up with Jeongyi, our photographer of the day. I will draft a post specially for him because not all the pictures are out. He brought us to Bukchon Hanok Village, one of the popular places for photo taking. It is located at Anguk Station. It was really cold specially after the heavily snow. Everything went pretty good. Most importantly, we feel very comfortable with Jeongyi. He is humorous and fun to work with. Definitely no awkwardness during the photoshoot.
The above picture was taken at Bukchon Hanok Village, one of the pictures that Jeongyi has sent to us. I still remembered when we were taking this picture. We went actually surrounded by lots of tourists. Some were waiting for us to finish taking as they wanted to take some pictures at there as well, some literally stopped and looked at us, some even took out their cameras to take pictures. Omg. Some tourists thought that we were korean and started to make some remarks which we overheard! Hubby overheard that one of the Taiwanese girls saying that "这个女生很精致".  精致? I thought it is a word to describe antique. No idea what does that really mean though. =\

We had lots of fun at Bukchon Hanok Village. He brought us another location and it is somewhere near a school. We have no idea where is it anyway. We just walked as we shot, he did all the places research though. And this is one of the pictures.
We had the first snow fight that we have. Another mission accomplished! HAHA! In fact we were so cold and shivering. Our hands were numb. But as soon as we got ourselves used to it, we had a few times of real fight!

The temperature started to drop and it started to snow lightly again. It was really our lucky day! After that, we stopped by at one of the cafe - Coffee Dame (I hope I didn't remembered wrongly). The pictures are not out yet. So I can't share with you here. Cafes in Korea are pretty unique and some have themes as well! So we decided to pop by for a couple of shot.

After that, we proceed to Myeongdong to have some night shoot. It was our finale and we were so excited. These were the three pictures that he had sent to us, we were really amazed by his work!
This picture was taken in the peak timing where people rushing to go for shopping. We were amazed as it was only weekdays and the crowds were terrible. It was almost like Orchard Road in Singapore on Weekend. Wow. We do feel that we are blocking the ways. But the koreans are really nice, luckily they didn't push us away or something.

We literally did that in the middle of the street. It was really a wild idea that we had. Lots of Korean stopped and looked at our board. Not sure if they understand what we wrote. Luckily hubby is really strong. Jeongyi is so worried that he might not able to take my weight, but who knows! He can really take my weigh. Muahahaha!
The finale shot that we had. WE REALLY HAD LOTS OF FUN HERE! We literally ran up and down for this shot for like almost 10 times? When the traffic light went green, all of us were like "Ok. Let's do it". Husband and I ran to the middle of the road to do all the posing. Each time, we can only take 6 shot. Then when the traffic light went red again, we went "Go Go Go!" and packed up our belongings and ran as fast as we could. SUPER EPIC. Jeongyi was saying that if we were doing some behind-the-scene video, it would be so fun. HAHA!

The photoshoot went super smoothly I would say. We really had so much fun! We wanted to have dinner with Jeongyi but he gonna rushed back to take care of his baby boy. His baby boy is so cute! So, we went to do some shopping at Myeongdong again, hoping that people will not recognized us for what we did there just now! Haha!

We went to have our dinner first because we were so hungry. We visited Yoogane Restaurant.
There are two outlets in Myeongdong. Really thank Jeongyi for bringing us there.
The food are really good! So good until I did not take any pictures but video. HAHA! Address: 3-1 Myeongdong 2-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul, South Korea // 66-6, Chungmuro 2-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul 100-710

After that, we went to shop around in Myeongdong, shop after shop to get cosmetic stuff. Husband almost got crazy at the amount of I am getting. I don't think I bought a lot because I limited myself and got only those that I know is really good. I have been buying and buying, he has been paying and paying. Hahaha! Even though we had just eaten our dinner, we still continued to go for street food!
After that, we were so tired and decided to take cab to our hotel. BUT who knows the taxi uncle refused to take us in because it was very near. In fact, he actually asked us to walk back. HAHAHA! We thought that uncle was rude and decided to walk back instead. WHO KNOWS! It is really very near! HAHAHA! Damn retarded. It took us about 15 minutes to walk back. However, walking for 15 minutes during winter, feel like 30 minutes instead. So cold!
